| With the rapid growth of economy, the improvement of the living standard and increased demand for vehicle results in traffic congestion, traffic accident and other problems, which brings great losses to the economy and society. When one subsystem in traffic safety system is disturbed by Internal or external factors, it may loss ability of work normally and collapses. If this causes chain reaction, traffic safety system’s brittle will be showed. In view of this situation, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and theory of brittle link are used to study brittleness of traffic safety system in paper.First of all, this paper reviews the research status and analysis method of domestic and foreign traffic safety system, and research is made from aspects of system level, road design and traffic control in the existing literature, but study on brittleness source of traffic safety system and relationship between traffic safety system and its subsystems is inadequate.Secondly, the affecting factors of traffic safety system are analyzed from two aspects of demand and supply.Thirdly, the national macro management, scientific research and other factors are put into brittle source of traffic safety system and hierarchical structure of traffic safety system is conducted completely. According to results of expert investigation, priority judgment matrix is got. And it is converted the fuzzy consistent matrix by use of improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Then, the weights of brittle source’s influence on the traffic safety system are obtained, through the single hierarchical and total order. The results show that the largest trouble is the absence of driver’s awareness of comity and the less attention to safety education.In addition, importance also should be attached to the impact of the national macro management and scientific research on the total target.Fatherly, the brittle link model of traffic safety system is attained by research to brittleness relevance. Set pair analysis is applied to gain the same degree, opposite degree and wave degree of traffic safety system and brittle link theory are used to calculate the same entropy, opposite entropy and wave entropy. Their weights in the brittle link entropy are determined by using catastrophe progression method. In order to analyze it more reasonably, radios of opposition and fluctuation are introduced to study influence of fluctuation entropy on brittle link entropy mostly. Through the analysis of fluctuate radio, the effect of fluctuation entropy to brittle link entropy is relation to the trend of the same degree to the wave and the wave to the opposite. The result indicates that security is the weakest subsystem.Finally, according to the above analysis, some suggestions are offered, for example, improving the safety awareness, strengthening safety education, increasing investment using to traffic safety specially, attaching importance to scientific research, coordinating relevant departments’ function, perfecting the accident information system, managing vehicle. |
