Into the21st century China’s economic development speed finally broke the pattern betweenthe eastern, central and western regions for a long time, the eastern region development speed thefastest, western region followed by while the slowest trend of the central region, the country’sdevelopment pattern appearing "Central Downfall" trend. In2011the building of the CentralPlains Economic Zone has risen to national strategies, the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration asthe main leading the overall development of the Central Plains Economic Zone, and itsdevelopment is the top priority of central China.Based on improving the whole strength of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration, this paperselected spatial economic ties the research perspective, through three aspects of the scientificmeasures:contacting intensity, functional link, connection nature, to study the degree of economicties among the central plains city, identify the reasons for the problems and countermeasures. The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part mainly elaborated the thesis research background and significance, domestic andforeign research review, research ideas and content, research method and technical route, etc.The second part emphatically discussed the economic links theory system and the specificmethod among cities based on the urban agglomeration. The theoretical system included the basictheory and the core theory. The specific method mainly included gravity model, urban stream,geo-economic relations, as well as their respective indicators and calculation formulas. The third part is the core part of this paper, applying the theory and the concrete method of thesecond part, to quantify the interior space economic ties of the Central Plains Urban Agglomerationto obtain its evolution process. The third part can be divided into three aspects, first, study theevolution of the intensity of urban agglomeration spatial economic links mainly by gravity model.Using the gravity model to quantify the connection strength, and by the results of quantitativedetermine its economic location and the main direction of economic ties, and through the timeseries analyze the evolution process of the intensity of the Central Plains Urban Agglomerationspatial economic links. Second, using the city flow to measure its function link. Mainly from urbanflow intensity, location quotient, the amount of extroverted function, urban flow tendency degree, urban flow structure analysis of the evolution process of the function link. Third, using thegeo-economic relationship to analyze and determine the competitive relationship betweenZhengzhou and other cities in urban agglomeration.Through analysis of the evolution results of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration spatialeconomic links in the third part, the fourth part for the strengthening and the regulation of theeconomic ties of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration are also proposed. Finally is the conclusion and outlook. In this paper, draw the main conclusions, and putforward relevant suggestions, and point out the possible innovation points and deficiencies and theneed to continue work in the article.
