Medical building, as one of the longest space a patient in the hospital, general hospital floor, the quality of architectural design, and directly impact the efficiency of the medical care of the doctors and nurses as well as the patient’s treatment and rehabilitation process. With the development and improvement of the socio-economic and technological, modern hospital architectural design thought and practice has also been a corresponding change. Over the past decade, science and technology, including the rapid development of medicine, medical technology, diagnosis and treatment equipment, to varying degrees, affect the setting of the medical institutions to promote the evolution of the medical service mode. To hospital wards designed to better adapt to the changes in these factors in order to better service for patients, we need to update the design concepts, improved design methods. Of this thesis is in this context, the investigation of these factors, the analysis of the new requirements, new trends in contemporary hospital ward design, and combined with the typical case, to explore the new requirements under the impact of the new trends in the design of the contemporary hospital wards concepts and methods, as the theory of design practice guidance to create more suitable for China’s national conditions, to meet the needs of the development of China’s medical cause of hospital floor building.
