At present many colleges have set up electronic technology and relatedcourses in our country. To learn this kind of course, spectrometer and other testinginstruments are needed. Because Tektronix, Agilent and other InstrumentCompanies implement technology monopoly instrumentation market, the price oftheir products is very expensive. Besides, the first step to produce spectrometer isto make out their Working principle and the algorithm they use. For these tworeasons I carry out the program of Fourier Frequency Spectrum Analyzer and itsAlgorithm Research and Validation.The FFT analyzer is the digital spectrum analyzer, its data process as follows:first of all, digital the input signals. and then transform them in the time domainwith the theory of FFT to obtain their frequency characteristics. However there area large amount of data need to be computed by FFT. So it’s too slow to compute aframe of data. And the transformed frequency information includes all fullfrequency spectrum information, and can’t be able to realize zoom observation ina specific range. In order to improve the computational speed and Zoom spectruminformation within the specific frequency band,this paper gives a new frequencyspectrum algorithm-Zoom FFT algorithm, and introduces the principle andalgorithm implementation.There must be system platform in validation algorithm of Fourier analyzer,so I design a hardware circuit which is based on FPGA+ADC to achieve dataacquisition and FPGA+DSP to achieve data process, I also design data storagemodule, keyboard module and display module and so on. Besides I also write dataacquisition program in FPGA and data transfer program in BF531.Finally, after verify the performance of the system platform and then run twovalidation program on system platform, the FFT algorithm and Zoom FFTalgorithm.
