With the development of economy, people’s living standards continue to improve, andthe construction of earlier settlements restrict of the economic level, its main purpose is toquickly scale to satisfy people’s living requirements, with the continuous economicdevelopment, the early completion of the residential area of either the design or function ofbasic services all with the people’s growing material and cultural needs are contradictory,particularly the contradiction between the modern society and the growth of motor vehicletraffic and residents living space demand is growing increasingly prominent. But if it is only areconstruction simply does not conform to our country advocates building aconservation-minded society of the requirements, so the transformation of the old residentialarea is reasonable and necessary.Urgent demand with significantly improved people’s life level in our country and toimprove the living environment, exposed some problems of old residential planning ignoredin design, such as the community function is not perfect, living group layout is not reasonable,the lack of service facilities, living environment safety, small model follow the same pattern,lack of features and so on, I think, reconstruction design to improve the residential areashould pay attention to the following aspects of the problem. Residential renovation designshould pay attention to the construction of ecological environment; residential renovationdesign should pay attention to the combination of function zoning; residential renovationdesign should pay attention to the security settings; residential renovation design should beperfected to service system; in general, the area in the macro attention and peripheralcoordination environment, the pursuit of individuality and diversity in the specific design onthe. Revamping design in combination with the premise of terrain and surroundingenvironment, based on the original characteristics of the respect, tries to realize the healthy,joyful, fashion theme, building a humanistic ecology area of a modern open, mature, becomean earthy smell, make people happy house in rural community.In this study, from the old district renovation purposes, methods, technical route, and theresults of the study were analyzed, the conclusion. In the process of transformation to the area,combined with the characteristics of the residents, hobbies, improve the residential function,truly "people-oriented"; in the transformation of landscape and local culture combine organic,do originality, uniqueness and identification; the greatest degree to solve the parking problem,problem solving contradiction and hardening, greening.Finally, the research results and deficiencies are described, and make prospects forrebuilding old residential areas.
