Taiyuan Workers Cultural Palace is the largest cultural activity center for workers in Shanxi Province, including the main building and Plaza building.Here one improvement plan for architectural interior space of Taiyuan Workers Cultural Palace is offered through analysis of the intial designed functions and current operation situation combined with the social economic and cultural development of the Taiyuan Workers Cultural Palace so that it can satisfy the cultural and entertainment needs of the masses of workers.From the plan layout we can see that after adjustment the palace is redesigned from the aspects of culture, entertainment and physical fitting etc. The palace is divided into the following areas:multimedia culture study area, multi-function hall, gate hall, cultural exchange exhibition area, leisure and entertainment district. Each area in the design is a vivid display of modernness with lines, surfaces, three-dimension space combined together. The entire space is divided into a concise, comfortable and fluent one.From the color aspect we can sense the modernness from the main background consisted of light color and black-white-grey. And some bright colors are specially used to show the path guidance.While in decoration, more attention is paid to the integrity and functions. With the subtraction principle, the decoration and spatial pattern of the whole complex space is simplified.Taiyuan Workers Cultural Palace is aimed at providing workers with multi-function service center by introducing and promoting advanced scientific and cultural activities of the working force as well as leading workers to keep pace with the times.
