Energy shortage has been the most serious issue facing humanity in the sociaty taday. With the increasing of electricity demand and reducing of coal and other raw materials, energy shortage is becoming more and more severely, the development and utilization of new energy has become urgent need. At the same time, wind energy is a clean energy that is inexhaustible, the main use of wind energy is in the form of wind power generation. Since seventy, the equipped capacitor of wind power continues to increase, new technology and method are applied to the wind power generation, investment and research on wind power generation in China has entered a new period of vigorous development.For the entire wind power system,control technology is the key unit of efficient and stable operation,the yaw system is an important controlling part of the horizontal axis wind-driven generator system.This paper carries on the corresponding research.In order to facilitate the control of the yaw system,scholars have developed some different control methods,most of them will necessarily use the wind direction sensor.The wind direction sensor is located under the direction of the wind, which is vulnerable to the effects of turbulence and other unfavorable factors,and it’s measurement precision is finite,with which in unison result in low control accuracy of the yaw system.Therefore,scholars have put forward a kind of power control method based on hill-climbing algorithm,which effectively reducing the power loss caused by wind direction sensor.This article is based on the hill-climbing algorithm,with the research object of the yaw system of megawatt double-fed asynchronous wind turbine,aiming at obtaining the maximum wind power.The object of this paper uses the doubly fed induction wind generator with the capacity of1.5MW of a three-blade horizontal axis on the direction of the wind. Based on the current development of wind power generation at home and abroad,I study hard of the doubly-fed induction wind power generation system and its components,focus on the analysis of the yaw control system and its hardware structure,study the software flow of the yaw system.Introducing the hill-climbing algorithm model,study the part of control model and Simulation of the automatic yaw system. Results validate the algorithm superiority of yaw control system.
