Today, with attaching great importance to the energy crisis and environmental pollution, wind power technology has become the research focus of each country. While the direct experimental data and results can be gotten by experimental study in the field of wind power, but because of poor field conditions and the limited experimental space and so on, the process of field experiments is difficult to achieve. This will not only consume a large amount of manpower, material and financial resources, but also waste a lot of valuable time. Therefore, the simulated output characteristics of the wind wheel system to become an effective way to solve the problem. Building the wind wheel simulation system becomes the key of Laboratory studies of wind power technology; it plays an important role for the development of wind power.This paper presents a designed program of the simulation of the wind wheel characteristics to use analog controller and inverter to control the induction motor, to make the induction motor's output characteristics to meet the output characteristics of wind wheel.In this paper, the four-component combination of wind speed model is established, using the Matlab/Simulink to achieve its simulation. By simulation waveform compared with the measured wind speed waveform, the result shows that the mathematical model can more accurately reflect the mutation,the gradual nature and randomness of the actual wind speed. The model of the wind speed applies to the simulation and study of the wind power system. Then by analyzing the aerodynamic characteristics of wind wheel and the largest wind energy absorption theory, the mathematical models of the output power and the output torque. of the wind wheel are built. On this basis, the wind wheel characteristic simulation system is simulated by the Matlab/Simulink. Vector control techniques are used to achieve using the induction motor simulation the output characteristics of the actual wind wheel in the case of a given wind speed. Consistent with simulation results and theoretical analysis, this shows that this design is correct and feasible; finally the entire wind wheel simulation system is designed. This system mainly consists of PC, inverter and induction motor and can simulate the dynamic characteristics of the wind wheel. And prepared on a PC host computer interface, to achieve wind parameters and wind wheel parameter settings and real-time monitoring of running status, can also save the current data for later analysis and processing.
