The research of renewable energy is an important research subject nowadays.As a kind of clean and renewable energy,wind power can be widely used in the future.To make the research of wind power more convenient,it is necessary to carry out the research and simulation of wind power system.This thesis analyses the related theories about wind power generation such as the modeling of wind turbine.The method of maximum wind energy conversion is also analysed.Then the characteristic of wind turbine is analysed,including mechanical transmission characteristics and electrical control characteristics.And then the modeling of wind is established and simulated.This all has set the theoretical basis for the whole thesis.The research of vector control of three phase asynchronous motor is carried out.The model of three phase asynchronous motor is established.The technology of common DC bus used in AC variable frequence and speed regulating system is analysed,including its principle and the frame of the control system.The application of the technology of vector control to three phase asynchronous motor is carried out.The simulation of the vector control of three phase asynchronous motor is carried out using simulink.All of this provide the motor control method for the simulation and experiment of wind power system.The simulation model of wind power system is established in the electric power simulation experiment platform of SimPowerSystem of simulink.A kind of grid-connected wind power system simulation model is established,and the components of it are presented especially the module of wind power simulation,which consists of wind turbine module,driving train module,generator module,converters module and controlling module.At last,using constant wind speed,the simulation experiment of the transient process and steady state process based on the simulation model is carried out,which proves that the simulation model is useful.The simulation test platform of wind power system is established,and related experiment is carried out.The simulation test platform of wind power system consists of mechanical system,measurement and control system and software system.To test the control effect of vector control of three phase asynchronous motor,experiment is carried out,such as acceleration and deceleration operation test under the constant load,constant speed test under the sinusoidal load and acceleration and deceleration operation test under the sinusoidal load.The result shows that the control effect is good.In the end the experiment about the wind power simulation system is carried out using four kinds of wind model,which proved that the wind power simulation system is useful.
