As the increasing of environmental pollution,human environmental protection consciousness enhancement as well as a shortage of fossil fuels.For wind and solar power,aroused the interest of many researchers.Due to the solar and wind power has a good complementarity,so independent small wind-light complementary system research just become more valuable and meaning.Independent small wind-light complementary system,is the application object of the grid not covered in the remote mountain area,island and grasslands of the herdsmen.In this paper,the research goal is to set up photovoltaic power system simulation model and wind power system simulation model,and then according to the characteristics of each system,combination build wind-light complementary system simulation model,and finally,the simulation debugging wind-light complementary system,load power output.First of all,according to the working principle and composition of wind-light complementary system.Photo voltaic array is studied,generators,wind turbines,converter controller and battery principle and characteristics of main components,and build the corresponding simulation model.The second,the solar energy and wind power generation system are analyzed the characteristics of the maximum power point tracking and principle.And detailed study of a few of the most common solar and wind power characteristics and the principle of maximum power point tracking methods.According to the mathematical expression of power generation systems,set up the simulation model successfully.The last,in the Matlab/Simulink environment,build generators,wind turbines,photovoltaic array,maximum power tracking control,PWM signal generator and the Buck circuit model.Respectively for wind power generation system and photo voltaic system are simulated.Then,the wind,light,power generation systems,structures,wind-light complementary system,the simulation debugging,and complete the wind-light complementary system,load simulation experiment on the power output.Following XiSuQi and ZhengLanQi is in inner Mongolia by two parts of the year,the change of the wind speed and light conditions are analyzed,found that the natural conditions of these two areas has reached the independent small wind-light complementary system requirement for power generation,can satisfy the demand of individual households.Thus proved the practicability of the simulation system.
