Nowadays, tour has become a more and more popular activity in the life. The most prominent feature of it is that it’s a process, in which the experience is the most important part. What the tourists real pursue and finally get is not material products, but the physical experience and the mental feelings, which are come from the stimulation of visual, hearing, tasting, smelling and touch from the outside.In recent years, with the development of the tourism industry matures, how to enhance the experience in tour become a major topic of concern. The development and sale of the souvenirs as part of a tourism, not only has a very important economic and cultural significance, but also can be seen as a contact point for the exchange with tourists. In my opinion, the souvenirs have took an irreplaceable position in enhancing the experience of the tourists. And since the experience and feelings are closely related to our sense, it might be a good way to achieve this purpose from think over the multi-sensory design.After data collection, reading, and the destination of on-the-spot investigation, I Found that the current domestic tourist souvenir market development level is relatively backward, there are many obvious flaws such as homogenization, the old forms of development, weak operating tactics, lack of brand concept. In this article, I tried to look for the development and design method of souvenirs from the point of view of the multi-sensory, and solve, divert those problems I listed above. My purpose is to put sensory symbols into the design of souvenirs, improve the design level of tourist souvenirs, and to provide a better experience for the tourists.Taking HuiZhou as the research sample, during the theoretical analysis of multi-sensory experience, souvenirs and the consumer psychology, and according to the current situation of HuiZhou’s development of souvenirs, I extracted the senses symbol from the Huizhou cultural life, discuss and practice the strategy of the development of souvenirs, eventually obtain a specific design plan and idea.
