Riverfront Green Space Planning And Design Of Shanghai Chuanyang River Based On Multi-sensory Experience

With the development of the river district in the process of urbanization,the landscape of waterrfront green space,which is regarded as the city life and vitality,began to be focused.At the same time,with the improvement of people’s quality of life,people are increasingly concerned about the comfort of the surrounding landscape environment,and landscape designers need to enhance the perception of the landscape,paying attention to the sensory experience of the landscape and the enjoyment of the spiritual level of the user to prevent people from indulging in the virtual world,out of the real world.But in the past,most of the river landscape designs are focused on the visual impact and ignorant of the comprehensive experience of sensory perception,ultimately leading to the decline of landscape design quality.Therefore,the comprehensive application of multi-sensory experience,such as vision,hearing,touch,smell and taste,will become the popular trend of waterfront landscape design.Through a large number of document literature,reviewing the domestic and international urban river green landscape and multi-sensory experience design research status to understand its frontier knowledge and study the multi-sensory design theory,giving a further insight into the relevant research experience at home and abroad,which aims to explore the full range of people of various sensory mystery,clarify the relationship between sensory organ and landscape design and summarize multi-sensory experience design methods and ideas.The waterfront green space of Shanghai Chuan Yang River was taken as a research object in this paper.Firstly,using the method of field reconnaissance to make a deep analysis of site characteristics and understand the demand of users.The site is defined to enhance the people’s perception of the waterfront green landscape and establish a multi-sensory experience design planning concept,starting from the perception of users’demand and focusing their sensory experience.Secondly,using the method of observation experience to record the perception behavior habits in landscape.Then,some excellent cases related to waterfront green landscape and multi-sensory design are consulted to summarize the reference and experience of those cases.Finally,from the three aspects of ecology,humanity and society to construct its design,with the "link","creation" and "green fabric","dotting" four steps to complete the master planning,innovatively putting forward a large number of multi-sensory experience strategies to give the space perception,create a clear river character of the waterfront ecological green corridor and public leisure zone,improve the waterfront ecological environment,open waterfront space and improve the public awareness of the site.This study has multiple significance.Firstly,providing guidance and reference for the further study of multi-sensory experience of landscape design.Secondly,the multi-sensory design theory provides a new idea for the research and design of the waterfront green space,injecting new life into it.Finally,the Shanghai Chuan Yang River Riverside Greenland is designed to create a full-fledged space that everyone can use,ensuring the young children and disability can find their own space and reflecting the social fairness,which has a new social significance.
