Research On The Layout Of Road Freight Hub In Huaihua

Huaihua city is located in the west of Hunan. It is said that Huaihua city is "throat of Chu","Portal of Yunnan and Guizhou"in the ancient times. It is the rail interchange of Xiangqian railway and Jiaoliu railway and Yuhuai railway. It is also the interchange of Hukun highway and Baomao highway. So Huaihua city has a very prominent location advantage. Nowadays Huaihua city has many problems. For example, there are a small number of freight transportation station as well as transportation enterprises are small-scale and information technology and standardized is deficiency. Therefore, to further improve the layout and its supporting function of Huaihua city road freight hub, and to improve its operational capability has strategic significance for the promotion of the Huaihua city economic development, the construction of the radiation national transportation hub.Based on the research of at home and abroad, this thesis analyzed socio-economic, transportation, logistics and freight station development of in Huaihua depth. It also used SWOT to plan cargo hub layout and expounded the necessity of planning by combining with the socio-economic trends and urban planning of Huaihua city. Through the analysis of the impact of Huaihua city highway freight demand factors and locating the function of freight hub station, the thesis predicted the social and economic development and freight volume and freight operation volume. According to the forecast results, it presented the overall layout plan of freight transportation hub, optimized layout status by combining with the city of Huaihua freight transportation station layout and construction situation. Finally, according to the main factors which affected the establishment of transportation hub layout, it put forward the evaluation framework and evaluation index system of transportation hub layout, and then made an objective evaluation of the overall layout of highway freight hub.This thesis is aimed to explore the influence factors of hub layout planning and the planning principle and method by researching the overall layout of Huaihua city highway freight hub from the perspective of the regional city. It also used quantitative and qualitative techniques to research planning scheme, which can prompt Huaihua to form a rational layout, perfect facilities, complete function, convenient transportation and radiation of urban and rural system of freight station field. The content and conclusions of the study can provide a useful theoretical guidance and method about reference of related highway transportation hub of the city’s layout.
