Early20th century, since the first automobile production line was founded byFord Motor Company in the United States, mass production has been the mainfeatures of modern industrial production。 Mass production is based on standardizedmass production to reduce production costs, improve production efficiency。 Thisway adapted to national conditions in the US, make the car become populartransportation tool instead of only luxury toy of the rich, auto industry grew uprapidly as a pillar industry in the United States and stimulate and promote thedevelopment of a large number of industries, including steel, glass, rubber, electrical and mechanical as well as transportation services etc。Mass production of flow line has extremely important significance in thehistory of production technology and production management。 But with thedevelopment of society, people’s needs are developing towards individuation anddiversification gradually, require the development of industrial production towardsmore variety and small batch, weaknesses of single species and mass productionbecome apparent gradually。 In order to comply with the requirements of the times, lean manufacturing pioneered by Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, as a mixedproduction conditions of multi-species, small quantities, high quality and lowconsumption, was going to make a figure。Lean production starts from the customer’s needs。 During the period ofproviding customers with products and services, separate a variety of productionactivities into two categories of value-added and non value-added。 Efforts to reducenon-value added parts, reduce costs, improve competitiveness of enterprises toachieve business and customer win-win situation。During the deployment of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping is aneffective tool, value stream analysis can help management to have a deepunderstanding of the entire supply chain from the supplier to enterprises to customers, and use a variety of Lean tools to improve value stream, and eventually satisfy customer needs with products and services of low cost, high-quality and quick-delivery。The thesis starts from basic lean production concepts, development processand the core theory, through value stream analysis to make full use of leanmanufacturing tools including time study, line balancing, pull system, quickchangeovers and visual management to kaizen TpT (throughput time), inventoryand variety of waste in the factory...
