Research On Improvement Of Inventory Management In Press Shop Of A Company

In recent years,the competition in the automotive industry has intensified.In order to enhance competitiveness,enterprises need to simultaneously "open source" and "save cost".More and more enterprises have listed ‘reducing costs’ as an important measure.In the manufacturing process,the backlog of inventory not only occupies a large amount of cash flow,affects the turnover of funds,but also brings a large amount of management cost.Therefore,research on inventory management improving can help reduce operating costs and enhance enterprise competitiveness.A Company is a large passenger car manufacturer,which sets up inventory in all aspects of its manufacturing process.As the first process of the whole vehicle manufacturing,stamping process,due to its high investment,high product complexity,fast production speed and other characteristics,tends to adopt the batch production mode,resulting in a large backlog of inventory and high management costs.This paper studies the stamping inventory management of A Company,analyzes the current situation and existing problems of stamping inventory management of A Company by using the relevant theoretical knowledge of operation management and lean production,and puts forward improvement plans and measures to improve inventory management and optimize management costs.Through value stream analysis and benchmarking,the current situation of stamping inventory management of A Company is analyzed,and it is found that there are problems in stamping inventory management of A Company,such as unreasonable management system,excessive inventory quantity,complicated management methods and means,and insufficient capacity of inventory management personnel.The composition of inventory is analyzed in detail,and the problems of large quantity and difficult management in inventory management are studied from two aspects of batch inventory and safety inventory.Summarize the problems in inventory management and find out the reasons for the problems in inventory management.In view of the problems existing in inventory management,put forward improvement measures: 1.Apply lean concepts such as "zero inventory" and "just-intime " to formulate inventory management policies,and set inventory quantity targets based on the above management concepts in combination with the actual situation in the workshop,take these targets as the guide of the improvement direction of inventory management and encourage the improvement of inventory management.2.According to the principle of ‘pull production’ and ‘just-in-time’,establish the productionscheduling principle of "modular-production-scheduling",combine with the construction of APS intelligent production scheduling system,consider the principle of‘balanced production’,improve the preparation of production plan from two aspects of logic construction and hardware support,optimize the inventory quantity and improve the inventory management level.3.By establishing the CPFR collaborative supply chain inventory management model,improve the accuracy of demand forecastingplanning-production,and optimize inventory management from the perspective of the whole supply chain: supplier-manufacturing-customer.4.Improve the capacity of inventory management personnel by positioning the role of inventory management personnel,establishing the capacity model of inventory management personnel,designing courses and establishing incentive mechanisms,to assist in the implementation of inventory management improvement.Based on the research of the current advanced concepts of inventory management at home and abroad,combined with the actual situation of A Company,and based on the characteristics of the batch production mode of stamping,this paper designs the improvement plan and safeguard measures of the stamping inventory management of A Company.At the same time,I hope to provide inspiration and reference for the inventory management in the stamping field of automobile manufacturing based on the research of A Company.
