Analysis Of Spatial Layout And Architecture Morphological Characteristics Of Zhoucun Ancient Commercial

Zhoucun district in Zibo City, Shandong Province, was an ancient city rising upby the development of commercial. Zhoucun ancient commercial, located in themiddle of City Zhoucun, is one of the relatively intact ancient commercial districts innorthern China and is known as the “museum group of ancient commercial buildingsalive in China.” It is the valuable information to study the culture of ancientcommercial of Qi dynasty even China. At the same time, as the national4A levelscenic spots, but also has a high tourism value. Currently, the study of architectureform of Zhoucun ancient commercial buildings is still blank, therefore, there’s lack oftheoretical basis in the protection of ancient commercial, coupled with the overcommercial operating of tourism development, there has been a certain extent ofdamage to the buildings. Through literature reading and on-site survey, this articlecarried out a detailed analysis and research on the spatial layout and architecturemorphological characteristics of Zhoucun Ancient Commercial, to enrich theacademic achievements of this field, and provide theoretical and technical support forthe protection and development of Zhoucun ancient commercial.Frist, this article combined the history of Zhoucun ancient commercial, madeclear the situation of the status of each functional sites, construction quality, as well asthe street fa ade by the analysis of it’s natural geographic conditions, historical andcultural background and detailed investigation of the ancient commercial. From aspectof spatial layout, this article summarized the morphological characteristics from theoverall layout, the street space and the courtyard space, from the aspect of architectureform, the article classified and analyzed the ancient commercial in three categories,Ming and Qing official style, local practice patterns and Chinese and Westerncombined style. At last, the article summed up the characteristics of the ancientcommercial based on the research and analysis, including heritage of regional,integration of diversity, and the unique cultural identity of “commerce”.
