Study On The Analysis Of Traditional Building Forms And Renewal Strategies In The Historic District Of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Mall

Historic districts in China are large and extensive,and historic buildings are closely related to cultural heritage and have diverse and complex environments.In the process of urbanization,the study of historical districts that still retain their original commercial and residential functions needs to be further explored.Zhoucun,a handicraft and commercial town that emerged in the late economic transformation of feudal society,is known as the "first village in the world".The ancient commercial street of Zhoucun is mainly composed of commercial,residential and religious buildings,and the building forms are mostly traditional buildings with a combination of Chinese and Western architectural styles from the Republican period,with the courtyard pattern of "front store and back residence" as the main feature,influenced by Jin and Hui schools of architecture,forming a very different style of commercial buildings,which is a well-preserved traditional commercial street of Ming and Qing dynasties in northern China.area.However,in recent years,with the development of urban renewal and tourism,the streets and alleys of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center historical district and buildings have brought great impact.It is mainly reflected in the unfavorable protection and repair of historical buildings,which leads to the deterioration of their appearance year by year,and the neglect of the relationship between the updated buildings and the traditional buildings in terms of form.This paper firstly explores the physical space and traditional cultural characteristics of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,explores the value of traditional architecture itself and clarifies the future development trend of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center.Then,the morphological characteristics of the new buildings in the historic district are quantified and analyzed by using the SD questionnaire method,and the old and new buildings are summarized in the renewal process based on the questionnaire results,which provides an objective basis for the renewal strategy of traditional buildings in the following paper;the typology is applied to sort out the types of traditional buildings in Zhoucun,and the morphological elements of each type of buildings are extracted and analyzed,and a database of the regional traditional buildings in Zhoucun is formulated.In order to provide a root and source reference for the architectural renewal of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,and finally to take the actual project as the landing point,we expect to play a guiding role in the future urban development and the conservation and renewal of the historic district of Zhoucun.Firstly,starting from the past,present and future development trend of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,through field research combined with planning materials,we understand the history and excellent traditional culture of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center;sort out the spatial pattern characteristics of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center and excavate the traditional architectural features to sort out its value characteristics;infer the future trend of developing the whole area tourism based on the technical regulations of Zhoucun local government.From the analysis of the new buildings in the historic district of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,the research direction of plan layout,fa(?)ade composition and decorative details as the main morphological elements is clarified.The SD questionnaire method is used to analyze the standard deviation and mean value of the evaluation results to explore how the new buildings inherit the morphological characteristics of historical buildings;the evaluation results of the professional and non-professional groups in the SD questionnaire are used to explore the design tendencies of professionals and the aesthetic preferences of non-professionals for the renewal of the historic district of the ancient city center.Based on the above analysis,the dilemmas faced in the renewal process of the historic district are identified,and then innovative approaches to the inheritance of old and new architectural styles and morphological relationships in the renewal process are proposed for the following paper.From the analysis of the traditional architectural form of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,we deeply explore the characteristics of the traditional architectural form of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center: the overall spatial pattern with the layout of "front store and back residence" or "front store and back factory",the courtyard space with the prototype of Jinzhong narrow courtyard and Beijing courtyard;the roof form with hard The roof form,mainly hard roof,absorbing Jin,Hui and Western architectural styles to form a very different style of fa(?)ade appearance;exquisite brick carving,complex eaves,solemn Edward,eye-catching painting and exquisite wood carving and railings together to form the traditional building decoration of the ancient mall.By summarizing the characteristics of these traditional architectural elements,a more complete reference library of Zhoucun’s regional traditional architectural forms is formed,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent construction by combining the problems that arise during the renewal process.Finally,based on the feedback from the SD questionnaire survey in Chapter 3,we propose a strategy for the renewal of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center by combining the morphological elements worthy of reference and the experience of other historical districts in conservation planning: the overall continuation of the plan layout and local innovation;the coordination of fa(?)ade architectural styles and the harmony and difference;the organic extraction of color decoration to achieve the goal of rich and orderly renewal.Finally,taking the actual renewal project of "Dream Seeker Garden" as the starting point,we start from the macro urban texture to the micro decorative detail design sequence,and sort out the architectural texture changes of the base in the past 10 years,so that the new building and the ancient city can be integrated with each other;based on the typology,we extract the prototype of plan and fa(?)ade elements,so that the plan layout,fa(?)ade form and color decoration design All have roots and sources,the new building roof shape,eaves,Edward,doors and windows form a series of details are based on traditional architecture for translation or direct imitation,the old and new integration to rationalize,so that the new building also has the old taste.To sum up,this paper summarizes and analyzes all kinds of morphological elements from traditional architectural forms,provides some theoretical support for the protection and development of Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Center,provides some practical basis for subsequent planning and construction with the help of actual projects,and finally makes a useful attempt for the regional renewal of the Ancient Shopping Center with practical projects.
