Research On The Configuration Of Shenzhen Community Sports Facilities

The development of a statemass sports is quite related to its economic andcultural levels. Since the reform and opening policy, China’s economy has beendeveloping rapidly, however the development ofmass sports has fallen behind. Onehundred years ago, government began to construct community sports facilities inforeign countries, and by now a perfect operable index system has been formed.The focus of our research on community sports facilities in China ismostly thatinvestigating definite city status and proposing the optimization strategy ofplanning and design referring to corresponding standard. However there is lessdiscussion about the research on the configuration of urban community sportsfacilities.This paper is based on the analysis of influence factors of community sportsfacilities, combined with the specific circumstances in Shenzhen of geographicalconditions, population structure and lifestyle, and concluding a suitablemode forShenzhen community sports facilities configuration that can be a reference forthe research on configuration of community sports facilities in other cities.Firstly this paper does some basic research on community sports facilitiesandmostly analyses the concept and connotation of community, community sportsand community sports facilities and the general scale of community in Shenzhenand other cities. And we have paid attention to the problems existing in Shenzhencommunity sports facilities withmethod of field survey and questionnaires. Thenthere is a key analysis of the three factors, that is geographical conditions,population structure and lifestyle that have an influence on the composition ofShenzhen community sports facilities. And we have divided into three levels ofcommunity sports unit according to the general scale, residents travel distanceand population density of Shenzhen community. Thus the problems of contentand quantity constitute of Shenzhen community sports facilities have been solvedwith residents demand as the fundamental basis. Lastly this paper analyses theeight factors, that is sports lifestyle, travel style, travel distance, a dministrativeboundaries, natural environment, population density, road traffic, large publicstadiums and other public facilities influencing the layout of Shenzhencommunity sports facilities, concludes the layout principles of fair and efficiency,benefit ofmanagement and according to local conditions of community sportsfacilities, has a discussion on the layoutmode of Shenzhen community sportsfacilities, that is centralization and decentralization, school districtmodel andcommunity parkmodel, analyses the location request of community sportsfacilities and studies the functional combinationmode of community sportsvenues and architecture.This paper has theoretically combined the general national standards andlocal actual and can be seen as a discussion and research on the localization ofgeneral national standards, that also can provide a reference for research on the configuration of community sports facilities in other cities. And practically thispaper has putted forward the specific projects and quantitative scale for theconstruction of Shenzhen community sports facilities, and has proposed thestrategy of spatial layout that canmake the configuration of Shenzhen communitysports facilitiesmore reasonable, all of which can effectively promote theconstruction of Shenzhen community sports facilities and the development ofnationwide fitness campaign.
