Traffic congestion,environmental pollution and energy consumption which wascaused by the rapid urbanization have resulted in people’s urgent needs for the smoothgreen travel. The Internet of vehicle is a typical application of the Internet of Things inthe transport sector and an effective way to solve the current traffic problems, as well asthe future direction of the development of intelligent transportation. However TheInternet of vehicle research is still in the exploratory stage, have not formed a unifiedunderstanding in the Internet of vehicle system framework and knowledge systems, etc.This paper analyzed the key technology of networked vehicles, put forward aframework system of networked vehicles, analyzed areas knowledge of The Internet ofvehicle with body, and then established the Internet of vehicle’s areas ontology. in thetheoretical framework of networked vehicles raised the fuel consumption detectionalgorithm (the FCIV) at the same time, produced temporal distribution of Chongqingbeltway spatial‘fuel consumption based on FCIV algorithm, the main work and resultsare as follows:①Conducted a detailed analysis of RFID technology, described tags, readers andapplications of RFID system deeply, improved RFID system combined with the Internetof vehicle own characteristics, Redesign the configuration of the car’s active tags, forraising its energy efficiency under the condition of meeting the demand for data read,meanwhile buried the actuator to control the reading range of the reader in the roadnetwork, and designed a hierarchical structure based on the above technical The Internetof vehicle.②Introduced the ontology from two different aspect, they are definition of the mainbody and body-building methodology, prepared for building the Internet of vehicledomain ontology theory. Analysis of vehicle networking domain knowledge, definedbody in the field of The Internet of vehicle and proposed the method of The Internet ofvehicle domain ontology building. Described how to get documents during building theontology, extract the term, build Correlations. And how to build into a car networkeddata domain ontology using the Protégé.③After above, internet of vehicles was used to detecting the real-time data of theroad network fuel consumption. Then the paper established Highway network modelbased on networked vehicles and analyzed traffic data model, the vehicle is divided into three categories and built the networked vehicles highway fuel consumption real-timedetection algorithm using the fuel consumption factor(FCIV), and the simulationverified the effectiveness of the algorithm. Then, get RFID-based data sets according tothe Chongqing Ring Get high-speed traffic flow data and highway traffic law, and basedon FCIV algorithm extracted Chongqing beltway fuel consumption distribution in thistime period and its visual representation visually. revealed the variation of the singlesections of the highway fuel consumption, time distribution and spatial distribution.
