In order to ensure that the vehicles meet the specified quality requirements before leaving the factory,the automobile manufacturers must conduct a full range of quality inspections after completing the assembly.In the current quality inspection process,there is a lack of automated identification of vehicle identities and tracking of the vehicles during the entire process.This paper based on the Radio Frequency Identification technology designed a vehicle quality inspection process tracking system,to achieve the fine tracking and precise control of the vehicles in the quality inspection workshop.It can effectively improve the application level of IoT technology and the control level of the information visualization during the vehicle production process.After deeply analyzing the problems in the existing quality inspection process of automotive manufacturers,this paper proposes the functional requirements of the system,and designs the overall architecture and data storage scheme of the system.The system is divided into four parts: vehicle identification subsystem,vehicle positioning subsystem,Web server subsystem and data storage subsystem.The influence of the workshop production site on the read/write performance of RFID tags and the influence of antenna orientation of RFID readers on the recognition effect were studied.Based on RFID middleware,a reader control program was developed to collect vehicle over check-point information and a driver management application based on the Android operating system was developed.In order to achieve accurate positioning of vehicles in the workshop,the applicability of several indoor positioning technologies was analyzed,and an indoor vehicle positioning scheme based on the Ultra-Wide Band technology was proposed.The distribution of positioning base stations was planned,and the display of the precise location of vehicles was achieved through two-dimensional map.Using the B/S architecture model,combined with the current popular Web application development frameworks and technologies,the design and implementation of various functions and pages of the Web server subsystem have been completed.Finally,the overall workflow and specific functions of the system were tested and verified.The results show that the system can reliably and accurately conduct automatic identification and tracking of the vehicles during the entire quality inspection process,and achieves expected designing goals.
