Preliminary Design Strategies On Exterior Space Environment Of Chongqing Hillside Residence

Our country is mountainous and has a large population, with the acceleratingprocess of urbanization, more and more people have chosen the mountain cities as theirown settlements, which brought a huge impact on the living environment of themountain cities.But at the same time, people’s growing living standardsand,culturallevel and ecological awareness makes the warm and comfortable indoor space alone cannot be able to meet the people’s requirements of the overall quality about the livingenvironment, they are more and more eager to get close to the nature, come to theexterior space which is close to their residence to rest,do sport and experience theregional culture.For this reason, residential exterior space environment which is complywith the slope environment and more comfortable and reasonable has now been moreand more people’s favorite. Based on this background, this paper set the exterior spaceenvironment of Chongqing hillside residence as research object and put forward sometargeted strategies, looking forward to provide some valuable references for thedevelopment of human settlements in the mountain cities.Current theoretical researches on residential environment construction in mountainstill needs to be perfect, this paper set the sciences of human environmental, adaptivedesign concept, the ecology, the environment as the theoretical basis, and the support ofthe proposed design strategies. The author thinks that, the design study about theexterior space environment of residence should not only to explore its relationship withthe slope environment, but also should be specific with the residents’ living behavior,psychological, urban landscape, culture and sustainable development needs of the cityand so on into the design account.The main research content of this paper has the following several aspects:①The introduction——This part describes the background of the paper. First ofall, the impact of urbanization to human settlements in our country are analyzed, andthen,taking the mountain city–Chongqing for example, puts forward the sustainabledevelopment requirements under the background of urbanization.After that, based onthe analysis before, the breakthrough point about this research is found out and there aresome further analyses about the research purpose and significance of this paper, the keyconcepts related to paper are also defined; Finally, paper’s research content and category,research status, research methods and framework are all got well illustrated, it’s important to clear the writing logic.②Analyses about current situation and problems——This part firstly explains theevolution of Chongqing hillside residential exterior space environment, clears thedevelopment process of the design object, and through the actual investigation, nailsdown the current state development of the research object.What’s more,this part inducesthe problems of exterior space environment of Chongqing hillside residential byanalysing, putting forward targeted design strategies for the next step.③Chongqing hillside and exterior space environment of the residence——Forsupporting the following discussions,in this part,the paper’s theoretical basis isdiscussed firstly; Then, constitute of residential exterior space environment, functionalfeatures are analyzed in detail, and sums up the main factors that influence the design ofexternal space environment of Chongqing hillside residence.Finally, the general designprinciples are put forward which are base on the analyses.④Put forward the design strategies——The definition of the morphology,landscape design, the the organization of the of people and vehicles traffic is threeaspects of design by the exterior space environment of Chongqing hillside residence,this part of the papers is supported by relevant theories, and in respect of the theabove-mentioned three aspects issues, put forward the targeted design strategies,building up the preliminary theoretical guidances for the design of exterior spaceenvironment of Chongqing hillside residence. Finally, combining with one actual designcase,this part illustrates how to use the proposed strategies into practice, with the certaindegree of innovation.⑤Conclusion——The full text is reviewed in this part and the total researchfocuses are also summed up, at last, the paper’s shortcomings and future researchdirection was prospected.
