Research On Industrial Remains Of Haerbin Three-united-power Factory

Human society entered the era of industrialization at the time of industrialrevolution. With the rapid development of the productive forces and productiontechnology, the legacy of the material wealth like various types of equipment etc. andspiritual wealth in industrial production, has become the witness for the developmentof industrial civilization with the records for the process of industrial development.What’s more, the accumulation of these both wealth becomes to the industrial heritagewith rich historical connotations. The value system of industrial heritage can bereflected by the social value, historical value, technology value and aesthetic value,and the industrial technology development of human society is recorded by theindustrial heritage in detail. With the rapid development of industrial technology, thetechnology and equipment, both of which are not able to adapt to the requirement ofproduction, will eliminate. As a result, lots of industrial heritage disappear with the lossnot only the substances, but also the breakage of historical context. Under suchcircumstance, the protection of industrial heritage has been the main focus of humangradually.It is relatively late for the development of Chinese modern industrial, and thecomplete industrial skeleton had been built with the assistant of the former SovietUnion since the late1950s, when was of great economic recession. China has taken theindustrial development mode of the former Soviet Union for Chinese industrialdevelopment in this situation, so heavy industry was given with the priority fordevelopment and good achievements has been made. The history above is just thebackground for the establishment of Harbin Three-United-Power Factory IndustrialPark. As a key project of that time, it grew as the leading enterprise in Chinese powerplant equipment manufacturing industry in a short time and created a great of socialand economic value for Harbin. For its own integral value system, it is with thepossible to be the industrial heritage with potential property for Harbin area.This dissertation analyze the industrial layout of Harbin Three-United-PowerFactory Industrial Park through scene investigation, interviews with factory works andthe research of a great number of historical data. With the track of the large number ofrelative industrial agglomeration, the reason for the applications of this industrial layout at the initial stage of construction of China with wide range and the superiorityof this layout have been obtained. According to the definition of industrial heritage,this dissertation gets the construction for the value system of HarbinThree-United-Power Factory Industrial Park in terms of historical value, cultural valueand social attributes. Then the analysis of urban industrial heritage protection mode,which will be used as reference for the formulation of the protected mode for HarbinThree-United-Power Factory Industrial Park, has been done. Eventually, this paperdevelops a suitable personalized protection program by analyzing the realisticconditions of Harbin Three-United-Power Factory Industrial Park.
