Research On The CAE Technology Of The Product Family Of The CNC Ultrasonic Detection System

The CNC machine automatically ultrasound detects system is a highly integratedsystem. It combined the CNC machine tools, ultrasonic testing system and computer as awhole.It can achieve the real-time detection of the workpiece in CNC machiningprocess.The development and manufacturing of the CNC machine automatic ultrasonicdetection system needs the knowledge of acoustics, fluid mechanics, statics and dynamics.This paper applied the CAE technology to the development of the system of the CNCmachine detection testing product family. It provides the CAE analysis for the CNCmachine ultrasonic testing system with the modularization, parameterization, processdevelopment and design solutions. It fill the black that rapid development and optimizationdesign the CNC machine ultrasonic testing system product family. And it shorten theproduct development cycle,increased the degree of automation and promoted its innovationand development.The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:（1）Model the ultrasonic detection attachments with the software ANSYS.And thesimulation of the ultrasonic detection attachments’ internal sound field was made. Then,theresults were analyzed in depth.The most suitable contraction cone angle and diameter of theultrasonic detection attachment’s nozzle was got. The results guided the design of theultrasonic detection attachment.（2）The simulation of the ultrasonic detection attachments’ internal flow field wasmade with the software FLUENT.According to the simulation results, we analysised thedistribution of velocity, pressure and turbulent kinetic energy of the flow field at differentflow rates and contraction cone angles.Based on the analysis, we gave the improvementsfor the the ultrasonic detection attachment.（3）The general analysis processes of the CAE technology was studied.Then combined it with the product platform of ultrasonic detection system product family. Andgot the workflow of the ultrasonic detection system product family’s CAE technology.Finally, show the technology by the secondary development software.
