Research On The Design Of Kid’s Electric Car

Kid’s electric car is emulational driving toy for the kids and is one of biggest selling child’s vehicle kinds in the market. Children can develop their intellect, improve their physical coordination and learn car culture by driving kid’s electric car. Parents also can make initiation education to the kids in many ways. So, the design of kid’s electric car is getting more and more important in the professional field. The structure of kid’s electric car is more complex than other kinds of buggy, and its design is more holistic and systematic. As a kind of children’s products, design is a key factor in a successful market. The design should follow principles of security, usability, interesting, interactivity and edutainment. Kid’s electric car should take psychology and behavior of children into consideration, reflecting abundant and interesting car culture. In the design and development process of kid’s electric car, the enterprises have different design strategies:independent innovation, copycat strategy and brand authorization.How to use proper design methods in the design of children’s electric car to satisfy the children’s aesthetic and behavior is a problem for the enterprises and designers. We should make kid’s electric car show the full usage of educational and interactive function.In this paper, I will research on the kid’s electric car from market, design, culture and manufacture, according to the related design in my Master’s programme to discuss and analyse the design methods of kid’s electric car.
