With the development of the economy and the improvement of the living standards of the people,the needs and requirements of children and parents are constantly upgrading.The scale of the children's toy market in China is also expanding rapidly.In this context,the various values of toys began to be dig deeper,and its value of education received special attention.The introduction of educational theory into children's toy design not only promotes the systemization and theorization of children's toy design,but also helps the toy industry to upgrade and transform.It can also help children to achieve self-improvement in toy games.This topic is an attempt to guide toy design with generative teaching theory.It is to sort out a set of design strategies and methods to make the generative children's toys supplement the classroom outside of the classroom and help children develop generative thinking,dare to actively explore,and learn to develop themselves.This dissertation has used research methods such as comparative analysis method,interview method,observation method,and questionnaire survey method.First,this dissertation analyzed the generative teaching and its application and obtained the typical characteristics of the activity of generative teaching.Then,this dissertation sorted out the design principles and characteristics of children's toys.Through comparison and analysis with generative curriculum,it proved that children's toys have the value and ability to achieve generative teaching and summarized the typical performance of generative toys,such as scalability,high compatibility,child-led,practical,feedback,and training.After that,through interviews with toy sellers,observing toy sales scenes,and observing children's behaviors in playgrounds,this dissertation summarized some of the toy trends in urban children in China and screened out children's toy cases with typical generation characteristics.The survey of children and parents is used to validate previous research findings and understand their need for generative children's toys.Finally,this dissertation summarizes the design strategy and design method of generative children's toys and designs a children's toy accordingly.It is hoped that this dissertation can introduce new generation ideas into the design of children's toys through the introduction of generative teaching and provide reference for the introduction of more educational ideas into the design of children's toys.
