The process piping mainly use to let the devices of petrochemical process plants fit together in order to complete a variety of processes.The process of piping installation engineering in large petrochemical enterprise is extremely complex, combined with the large construction quantity, it generally can account for about thirty percent of the total work quantity, so its progress can be the bottleneck of the whole project construction progress. The complicated process in the process of piping installation leads to that there is almost no study in the process piping installation management mode in domestic, So how to better not only optimize the tedious work flow during the process of site construction, but also manage the enormous construction data by the lots of work and shorten the easily delayed construction period, it can be a great help to improve the efficiency of construction enterprise project management.This paper not only has analyzed the project management theory of the process piping in the petrochemical industry and its development trend, but also has researched on the software of project management and its development trend, through the research on the site of the process piping construction and its management generally, the combination of on-site construction experience and using the advanced computer procedure technology, This paper has confirmed the structure and development program of the petrochemical piping installation management system, then completed the management system of petrochemical process piping installation functional requirements, non-functional requirements analysis, summary design and detailed functional analysis of the research design according to the method of software engineering.In view of the schedules of process piping installation are easily delayed, this paper have analyzed the controlling progress of the principle and method, through the analysis, this paper have optimized the most viable method-critical path method that can be applicable to control the site of the construction progress, and classified logically the construction tasks which exist the time interval, then optimize the calculation method of free time and total time, and the research has to achieve the module of schedule control in this system, It can make the schedule preparation and tracking more accurate and more realistic to the site of constructiontasks in the schedule control. Through the analysis and research, let the database query codeoptimized, this paper puts several methods to improve the query speed.Completing the C/S model of management system in piping installation process, Throughgathering the data information such as material, types of work, kinds of data reports, weldingmaterials into the database systems, including the construction of various types of data entry,classification, storage, search, transmission and tabulation, etc. Lots of heavy work can bedone by computer, and standardized the construction process. Through the implement thecontrol of construction progress on site, it can save plenty of time and improve the workingefficiency, at the same time it is great significance to achieve effective comprehensive controlin the whole process of the process piping installation.
