Research On Evaluation System Of Low-carbon Community Building

With global climate changes, the change in the mode of economic development, low-carbon economy which is famous for low power consumption, low pollution, low-emission characteristics, has become the social development of the citizenry. Community is the city’s cellular structure. Community structure and density of urban energy have a significant impact to CO2emissions. Community is the main place for people’s lives, with the participation of all citizens and persistent. Low-carbon community is to build a low-carbon city, to achieve social harmony, it’s an important element and the carrier of sustainable development. Construction of low-carbon communities can better integrate green development and the concept of circular economy, so it has practical significance.In this paper, low-carbon community is the main topic for the study, to evaluate the system as the starting point to carry out more research content. This paper firstly introduces the background, significance, research methods, routes and content. Then low-carbon community-related research, evaluation system, indicators have been divided into domestic and foreign research. The research is based on the basis study of carbon communities, including low-carbon regulations; different angles define the concept of community, the characteristics and significance of low-carbon communities. What’s more, community has been divided into three parts, such as low-carbon construction, low-carbon operation management, and low-carbon life. The most important of the paper is the evaluation system for low-carbon communities, including four parts, the evaluation system connotation purpose, principles, processes, and evaluation index system and evaluation methods. According to the construction content of low-carbon communities, combined with the DPSIR model as the selection of indicators and systems, the paper establish the evaluation model and scores graded by AHP which is to calculate index weights and set the reference value. Based on the theoretical research community, this paper indicates the evaluation methods and process by a case of A community. Then the final results of the evaluation made for the appropriate improvement strategies. In the end of the paper we get the conclusions and find the shorts of the research.This evaluation system is for the test of the construction of low-carbon communities; what’s more, it’s the guidance of an important basis for the construction of low-carbon communities. At present, China is still in the initial stage of construction and development in low-carbon communities, a complete evaluation system for communities and municipal levels will promote energy conservation. Then this study is of great significance.
