Since the industrial revolution, due to the continuous increase in the concentration of CO2in the atmosphere of human activities, environmental problems have become increasingly serious, which has had a significant impact on urban climate and living environment. Therefore, reducing emissions and increasing foreign exchange has become an important part of sustainable development.Urban green space,as an important natural ecosystem of the city,is the only natural carbon sink in the urban ecosystem.Green space can release oxygen through its own photosynthesis, thereby slowing the trend of climate deterioration in urban areas. Therefore, within the urban boundaries, the carbon sinking effect of plant communities has a positive impact on the urban carbon cycle. At the same time, the vegetation in the city also produces carbon emissions throughout its life cycle due to its own related measures. Therefore, estimate the carbon sink data of plant communities in urban parks, the carbon emissions generated by activities, and accurately assess the contribution of plant community carbon budgets in regional carbon cycles in urban parks, and provide landscape design for parks and communities as follow-up work. The reference basis for related research such as carbon budgets supports urban sustainable development and the trend of improving environmental degradation.Taking the plant community of Tianjin Park as the research object,12relatively typical plant communities in the park were selected, and the annual carbon sequestration benefits of urban park plant communities were estimated by the corresponding calculation methods. The relationship between the carbon sequestration capacity of plant communities and different influencing factors was summarized. At the same time, through collecting relevant construction management materials after the completion of Tianjin Water Park, and interviewing with park staff,to obtain relevant data information needed in the calculation, and estimate the carbon emissions generated by activities during the whole life cycle;Based on the relevant background data, the carbon budget benefits of plant communities in Tianjin Water Park Park during the whole life cycle are estimated. The relationship between landscape appreciation and carbon budget of 12 plant communities is analyzed. The construction of urban parks is analyzed. The design proposes relevant design optimization strategies, optimal plant community allocation in the carbon budget benefits, and suggestions for improvement of related management measures.Exploring the design of urban parks and other landscapes and related research should balance a variety of aspects:including increasing the carbon sequestration capacity of the plant community at the site, while reducing the carbon emissions and plants generated by the application of different landscape factors throughout the life cycle. The community should not only meet the user’s space use needs but also enhance the overall landscape effect, and efficiently achieve the urban park and its plant community’s landscape needs in many aspects,in order to achieve the overall goal of creating a harmonious urban ecological environment.
