With the development of times, people’s demand for clothing modeling has beenincreasing continually. The field of clothing structural design severs asa crucial connecting link in the whole process of clothing industry. This paper bases on thewomen’s standard size both in China and Japan, researching adjusting methods of NewJapanese cultural-type prototype in clothing structural design.Nowadays the principles of clothing construction has developed maturely, the Box typeprototype which is led by Japan, has greatly advanced in theoretical research.
