Research Of Free Size Female Upper Garment Prototype Based On Cultural Model

Free size clothes means that the clothes fit most of people. According to the experience from manufacturing and marketing, free size clothes fits about 60%-70% people’s wearing requirement. Recently, as the boom of online shopping market, free size clothes that qualified loose and fit most of people begun to flourish. However, in the practical application of enterprise, design and pattern making of free size clothes rely on experience. There is no a prototype for free size clothes. Therefore, research of free size prototype has both theory and practical meanings.Research of free size clothes prototype needs to meet two demand—fitness and aesthetics; the study of prototype is mainly based on Japanese cultural prototype and body shape structure. Based on the Japanese cultural prototype and experiment of body measurements, this paper analyzed the data of the experiment and calculated the main control parts and the correlation expression. Ultimately, in this paper, the structure pattern was designed and the free size female upper garments prototype was designed. The free size prototype meted the requirements and realized the fitness and aesthetics.The main contents of this paper include three aspects: firstly, it is the body size measurement experiment and data analysis. The second part of this paper is the establishment of the free size female upper garments prototype. Finally it is the application and validation of the prototype.This paper analyzed the structure of female body that fit for free size garments, set body measurement experiment reasonably, analyze the experiment data and extract three main control parts that their the initial feature values are greater than 1 and their cumulative contributions are more than 83.235%, and take the three main factors as the largest influence on the basis of free size clothing pattern design.The paper researched the corresponding structure of free size female upper garment and took regression analysis on chest width, back width, back length and other control parts and obtain the regression equation. Based on the Japanese cultural prototype and combined the regression equation, the free size female upper garment was established.After determining the style and fabric of the free size female upper garment, this paper validated the prototype of the free size female upper garment. Firstly, it used the 3D simulation software to validate the effect of wearing and compared the fitness and aesthetics, and then it took the physical verification experiment on mannequin and real people, Finally, the application of the basic pattern for one size fits all female jacket structure design prototype, suggested one size fits all female jacket-clothing model, simulated experiment in the 3D simulation of wearing fitting software.The final verification and application results show that free size female upper garments prototype can meet requirements in the size of the fitness and aesthetic degree, with good generalization, can be used as a free size clothing production enterprise structure design basis, and provides new free size clothing structure design method, complement the theoretical blank.
