Programming Of Machining Project Based On WinControl Software

In recent years, Computerized Numerical Control is used widely; meanwhile thetechnology of computerized graphics is developed rapidly. There are a lot of CNCsimulators was launched continuously that is based on the technology ofcomputerized graphics. WinControl is mainstream software which was approbatory indomestic market of CNC simulator. It is not only one simulator software but also itcan control the real machine for production by USB connector. So it is very useful forthe teaching and training of CNC. However, this software is only provide onesimulated platform, we have to do the secondary development that depended on therequirements about training object training content and training way in real situation,we need to design the training projects which can reach the requirements of training.In this thesis, we design the different training projects that be used for training ofmachining, which is based on the WinControl platform. The projects are focus onlathe system and milling machine system and include different control systems.According to the requirements of training, the projects is designed from simple levelto complex level and based on a lot of key points. It can change the traditional trainingmode by the function of graphical simulator and to assist for the training.Firstly, according to the research about domestic and international CNC software,we analyzed the working process and characteristics of functions of several CNCsimulator softwares, to study and to understand the characteristics functions, workingprocess and internal program language of WinControl. Secondly, depending on therequirements of training, we analyzed and studied the specific characters of programabout lathe and milling machine, and then, to design training project, to get one set ofdifferent training projects for the training of lathe and milling machine. Finally, wefound a lot of problems during designing, to analyze the problems and to propose onesolution.It is play a supportive role in CNC training that we designed the training projectswhich based on WinControl platform. During the teaching, teacher can use it forteaching directly. It can help to reach the training target as well as it can improve thetraining effect. It can provide a new training mode that is economic, effective and safetraining mode.
