The Saihan district is located at the southeast of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Meteorological disaster loss has exceeded80%of all the natural disasters lose. Meteorological disaster is variety, wide distribution, high frequency and heavy losses. In the backdrop of the global climate warming, all kinds of extreme Meteorological events happen more frequently, which the loss caused by Meteorological disasters and affect the mounting. By the statistics of disaster data in the Saihan district recent years, drought, the rainstorm and flood, frost, high temperatures, hail, strong wind were select by main research object and analyzed Meteorological characteristic and its influence that this6disasters. Considered Meteorological conditions, socio-economic and natural factors, meteorological disaster risk assessment will provide a theoretical basis for the planning of prevention and mitigation of regional disaster. In this paper, the data of many years of meteorological basic data, disaster data, geospatial data and socioeconomic data in Saihan district of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, were analyzed to establish the meteorological disaster risk assessment model, combined the formation mechanism of the drought, the rainstorm and flood, frost, high temperatures, hail, strong wind in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Based GIS spatial analysis and map capabilities, six kinds of meteorological disasters risk were assessed in Saihan district. While hazard zonation levels were given, the zoning map of meteorological disaster risk were drawn out in Saihan district. The north and west part is a high risk area for the drought disasters; located in the Yulin town and Bayan town; the Yulin town and Huangheshao town are high risk area for the rainstorm and flood disasters; the north and west part are high risk area for the frost disasters; located in the gold river and Chile Chuan Road Subdistrict Office;the north and west part is a high risk area for the high temperatures disasters; located in the gold river and Chilechuan Road Subdistrict Office;the north and west part is a high risk area for the hail disasters; located in Bayan town-. Chilechuan Road Subdistrict Office and the Yulin town;the north and west part is a high risk area for the strong wind disasters; located in the Yulin town.Risk assessment results of comprehensive meteorological factors. The meteorological disaster risk value is not same for a variety of meteorological disasters in various parts. Different kinds of disasters have different degree of influence on the Saihan district. The central region, northeast of the Saihan district are in high-risk areas, relatively speaking.
