The study of plant color has a long history, but it was often confined to the flower color of ornamental plants. So some exotic phenomena about flower color are neglected because don’t have ornamental value. Anemone obtusiloba is a species of Ranunculaceae, growth in the eastern margin of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The plant gradually spread because the cattle and sheep don’t eat. The color was white and yellow, the others are pale yellow with varying degrees. As a relatively primitive plants, why Anemone obtusiloba didn’t have a stable single color, but just show different colors with gradient deepened. In this experiment, through the study of the plant size of Anemone obtusiloba, the water content of petals and rhizosphere soil, the content of metal elements in the petals, leafs and of rhizosphere soil of Anemone obtusiloba to investigate the effects of ecological factors on anemone obtusiloba color. Explain the evolution of its color. Provide a scientific basis for the further study of Anemone obtusiloba’s evolution. The main results are as follows:1. Among three different color of anemone obtusiloba, plant height and flower number were increased with the color deepened. The flower show is decreased with the color deepened. There is no correlation between root length and color’s change.2. Among three different color of anemone obtusiloba, root weight, stem weight, leaf weight, petal weight, single petal weight show:pale yellow> white> yellow3. Among three different color of anemone obtusiloba, root weight/length, Stem weight/height, Petals weight/Flower Show all exhibits:pale yellow> white> yellow4. Among three different color of anemone obtusiloba, the water content of petals increase with the color deepened. But in the rhizosphere soil, Did not show this relevant changes.5. In the petals of three different color of anemone obtusiloba, the content of Fe, Mn are increased with the color deepened, the content of Cu is decreased with the color deepened. Other elements didn’t show relevant changes.6. In the leafs of three different color of anemone obtusiloba, the content of Mn are increased with the color deepened, the content of Cu is decreased with the color deepened, Other elements didn’t show relevant changes.7. In the rhizosphere soil of three different color of anemone obtusiloba, the content of Mn is decreased with the color deepened, the content of Cu is increased with the color deepened.
