Through the sample point survey method, the study researches and analyzes floracharacteristics and its important value, species richness (S), Simpson dominance index (D),Shannon diversity index (H’), Pielou evenness index (J) and different community speciescomposition similarity coefficient (Cs) of medicinal plants of5kinds of typical naturalsecondary forest communities (including Quercus valiena. Var acuteserrata forest,Pinusarmandii forest, Betula albo-sinensis forest, Abies fargesii forest and Larix chinensis forest)in Taibai Mountain Nature Reserve.On the basis of the medicinal plant resources and identification, and related books,consulting relevant literature, then combine with our actual list of investigation of medicinalplants, ultimately, the results make clear that there are221species wild medicinal plants of5kinds of natural secondary forest communities in Taibai Mountain Nature Reserve, which aresubordinated to75families and180genera. There are4species ferns, which subordinated to2families and4genera among them; there are4species gymnosperms, which aresubordinated to2families and3genera; Angiosperms, there are188species dicotyledonousplants, which are subordinated to66families and155genera; there are25speciesmonocotyledon, which are subordinated to5families and18genera. At the family and generalevel, the areal types can be divided into13kinds. The flora has wide relationship with theother regions in the word and the areal types of the flora are various, the temperate elementsin the families and genera have main advantages.Results show that, there are49species of medicinal plants of5kinds of naturalsecondary forest community in shrub layer.There are12kinds of medicinal plant species ofshrub layer under the Abies fargesii forest, the main dominant species of Lonicera Japonica(important value of85.27%),Acanthopanax giraldii Harms (important value of65.68%),Ribes sativum (important value of43.89%), the important value of the remainingspecies are lower;understory shrub layer of Pinus armandii forest,there are27kinds ofmedicinal plant species, the main dominant specie is lespedeza (important value of35.66%), and the important value of the remaining species are lower; understory shrub layer ofQuercus valiena. Var acuteserrata forest,there are of20kinds of medicinal plant species,including Smilax stans (important value of38.35%), the Spiraea salicifolia (important valueof30.90%) as the dominant species, the other species of important value are lower; Betulaalbo-sinensis forest has21kinds of plant species, the main dominant species are raspberries(important value of76.53%) and the Spiraea salicifolia(important value of43.10%) in shrublayer, and the important value of the remaining species are lower; the shrub layer of Larixchinensis forest, there are6kinds of medicinal plant species, the main dominant species ofLonicera Japonica (important value of185.43%), Rosa multiflora (the importance value was34.92%).There are67species of medicinal plants of5kinds of natural secondary forestcommunity in Herb layer. Abies fargesii forest understory plant species of herb layer there are24species, dominant species is Ligularia sibirica (important value of79.90%), the secondarydominant species is Saussurea japonica (important value of48.58%), and the important valueof the remaining species are lower; understory plant species of herb layer of Pinus armandiifores,there are19species, dominant species is Arthraxon hispidus (important value of57.79%), and the second advantage is Dryopteris erythrosora (important value of45.06%),and the important value of the remaining species are lower; Quercus valiena. Varacuteserrata forest understory plant species of herb layer are14kinds, Lactuca sativa is themain species(important value of41.02%), the remaining species of important value is low.herb layer under the Betula albo-sinensis forest has17kinds of plant species, dominantspecies is Ligularia sibirica (important value of63.88%), dominant species isOsmorhizaaristata (important value of56.33%), important value of the remaining species arelower; the herbaceous layer under the Larix chinensis fores,there are20kinds of plant species,dominant species is the Cardamine hirsuta (important value of42.23%).Understory species richness S Betula albo–sinensis forest> Pinus armandii forest>Abies fargesii forest> Quercus valiena. The diversity indexH’Larix chinensis forest> Pinus armandii forest> Abies fargesii forest>Quercus valiena.Var acuteserrata forest>Betula albo–sinensis forest, it explains this layer contains species oftrees and the amount of information of Larix chinensis forest, it is the most stable structure.Dominance index D Abies fargesii forest> Betula albo–sinensis forest> Pinus armandiiforest> Quercus valiena. Var acuteserrata forest> Larix chinensis forest, it shows advantagedegree of Abies fargesii forest herb layer species, the species are most bizarre. Evennessindex J Quercus valiena. Var acuteserrata forest> Larix chinensis forest> Pinus armandiiforest>Betula albo–sinensis forest> Abies fargesii forest, it indicates Quercus valiena. Varacuteserrata forest herb layer species are most uniform distribution.
