Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve located in the northern part of BaLinZuoQi in ChiFeng, which belongs to the trasitional area in the southern region of Greater Khingan Mountains, was found in1997, and became National Nature Reserve in2011. The resource of biodiversity in Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve is very abundant. But the research of the bryoflora had not been launched. In this paper, The bryoflora in Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve of Inner Mongolia were preliminarily studied by field investigations and literature references, and it shows that the reserve has abundant and diverse bryoflora, which number181species,86genera and39families (including1subspecies,5varieties). Among them, six species are new records for Inner Mongolia; four species are firstly recorded in Chinese mainland, which are Grimmia longirostris Hook., Schistidium lancifolium(Kindb.)Blom., Bryum laevifilum Syed., Homomallium adnatum (Hedw.) Broth..And there are16endangered species among the bryoflora of Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve(CR3species, EN4species, VU9species).The species composition, floral elements, bryoflora similarity among different regions are analyzed. The result shows that most of the species are drought tolerant moss. The statistics of the floral elements reveals that it has a dominant majority of temperate elements, which reflects a typical temperate characteristic. By comparing bryoflora similarity between Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve and other8regions in China, it shows that the bryoflora of Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve is most similar to Saihanwula Nature Reserve and Qilaotu Mountain, which embodies that they both should be the transition region connecting the Mongolia-Xinjiang Region and Northeast Region as well as the North China Region. Concerning the analysis of the habitat diversity of bryophytes of Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve, most species of bryophytes live in forest habitat. So forest habitat is the most important habitat of bryophytes which should be protected carefully, and Wulanba-Shipenggou Nature Reserve should be established in consequence.
