As everyone knows, the real competition among enterprises in the future is the enterprise personnel rivalry and competition. Therefore, the important position of talent strategy in enterprise strategy can be proved. And among talent strategy, the most crucial is very leadership of management. Thus, improve enterprise leadership of the management has become an important task of enterprise strategy. However, we also see the current situation of many enterprises in the presence of talent development. From the objective environment factors and internal environment factors of leadership development strategy, firstly, the talents growth speed cannot catch up with the salary growth rate; secondly, from the perspective of employee engagement, under normal circumstances, few employees can devote to work; thirdly, the speed of talent transformation can not catch up with the strategic and organizational transformation rate. Therefore, in the competition of talent, enterprises not only need to meet the needs of high potential employees in compensation and benefits, but also want to make them grow up as soon as possible, with their comprehensive ability stronger. Study on high potential talent leadership can help Voith Turbo Shanghai to support the business development and strategic landing needs, help the company on the key position personnel succession, retention, recruitment and performance management; solving specialized personnel obtaining, meet the development of power shortage; contribute to meet business needs in right mentality and have completed the outstanding leadership of the middle-level management team; and improve the efficiency of team work.This article decribed and analysed Voith Turbo Shanghai Company’s current leadership development, challenges faced, and potential problems appears in high potential talent development. According to company strategy and talent strategy, and considering Harrison report, identifies learning objective and personal development plan of leadership for high potential talent. Based on the company’s employee engagement survey result, successfully extracted associated indicators with "high potential". In the way of training road map, given role and functions for leaders, work out specific solutions in view to develop high potential talent for leadership, to carry out a one-year leadership promotion project. Through method of using questionaire, scene simulation, group discussion, the high potential talents learned courses of personality types and leadership training, communication and influence under cross-cultural context, problem solving and decision making course. Among the courses, participants share with each other, improve the both theory and practice for leadership. Finally, it is proposed that these high potential talents will enter key talent pool with excellent and comprehensive leadership skills and expand enterprise strategic competitive advantage.
