In recent years, the frequent occurrence of the natural and man-made calamities,such as earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis and avian flu, etc. had led to huge demands ofemergency supplies. To response to the disasters, it required to conduct a quantitativeresearch for the emergency supplies reserve. In terms of the inventory management ofemergency supplies, this study mainly focused on two aspects, the classificationmethods of emergency supplies and how to determine the volume of emergencysupplies reserve. Based on the research of the classification methods, it had conductedto figure out the specific amount of the emergency supplies reserve. Then the demand ofemergency supplied been converted from an unknown quantity to a determinedinventory amount. This helped optimized both the effect of disaster relief and the use ofspecial funds for the disaster relief. Therefore, this study has a certain meaning of theoryand practice. Based on the characteristics of fuzzy clustering analysis and theapplication of information entropy, this paper researched emergency supplies inventorymanagement problems and put forward the specifically optimized strategy ofinformation entropy.Firstly, putting fuzzy clustering analysis as breakthrough point, the thesis pointsout the problems of the traditional classification method, gives the concept of fuzzysimilar relation and fuzzy equivalence relation and method of fuzzy equivalence matrixand puts forward classification methods based on fuzzy clustering analysis based on thecorresponding emergency supplies index system being established. Then according tothe relevant theory of information entropy, the applicable capacity control model is builtto find the quantity of emergency resources, and simultaneously make it can not onlyreach the emergency needs, but achieve optimal efficiency of the limited use of specialfunds. Finally, after emergency supplies reserves model is determined based oninformation entropy, studies have found that the whole supply chain system informationwould reduce the accuracy after a simple inventory system every time, but theinformation entropy values are magnified once. Therefore the study of the optimizationtactics of the information entropy values is very necessary. Based on the previousresearch and the above relative information entropy optimization method is explored.
