The investment scale was expanding, more and more plant construction was increased. In a growing number of chemical equipment construction projects, the progress of the project control theory is also playing an increasingly important role. Because of their highly practical and applied, the project breakdown structure, scheduling and progress control theory has been applied in many large projects. In this paper, basing on the theory of project process management and the mill&grinding system of NETZSCH. the factors that affect the progress will be analyses. The work breakdown structure will be made. The important point is that we must focus on the project control, adjustment and optimization in the actual implementation process control, as well as the application of the variety of different information and other useful information. We will make the progress better by means of earned value method and SAP platform, also by summary uncertainties and solutions. This will not only increase the economic efficiency but also improve the level of the project management of the company.
