Since the21st century, the economic globalization has increased the globalcompetition. In the international business exchanges, more and more customers not onlyjust focus on the company’s ability to provide competitive products, but also concernedabout the company’s ability to ensure consistent ability. Therefore, standardizedmanagement in enterprises is required. Under such circumstance, ISO9000Standardwas published in1987. In a certain extent, ISO9000has made a great contribution toimproving the quality management of enterprises, and has being quickly recognized inthe industry. The early21st century, Chinese entrepreneurs set off the boom of ISO9001certification. Nowadays, to obtain the ISO9001system certification has become astepping stone of the business contacts. However, more and more companies haverealized that ISO9001certification is no longer effective to attract clients."Win withquality" become an urgency program. Companies start to invest substantial resources inthe establishment and operation of the ISO9001quality management system. However,in many enterprises, ISO9001quality system operation is inefficient. Although somecompanies have achieved some success due to some temporary solutions to qualityaccidents, they could not maintain the effectiveness of its quality management systembecause of various reasons. Therefore, how to continuously improve the qualitymanagement system, maintain its suitability and effectiveness, nurturing competitiveadvantages, has become an important research topic in the field of quality management.This thesis takes a growing small and medium-sized state-owned enterprise calledcompany Z as example. The purpose of this thesis is not only to provide advice on howto make the company’s quality management system to adapt to its current developmentstage, but also provide methods and ideas to growing enterprises like company Z onhow to optimize their quality management system. These are also the significances ofthe thesis.This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces thebackground, purpose and methods of the research. The second chapter is to evaluate,analyze the quality management system of company Z. Take the process model of ISO9001as analysis framework, diagnosis and evaluate the adequacy, suitability andeffectiveness of the company’s quality management system by using the processapproach, and identify the existing problems. The third chapter is to design optimizationprogram for the quality management system of company Z. Based on the study resultsfrom bibliography,8quality management principles and PDCA continuousimprovement methods, and then to propose optimum programs and methods. The forthchapter describes the implement of the optimization program, through empiricalanalysis, collecting relevant data to verify the effectiveness of the optimum program,and finally concludes the management inspiration. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.To state the results and inadequacies of this thesis, and the topics that have not beencovered due to time and space restrictions.
