| Quality management for construction project has some characteristics, which are complicacy of content, close relationship to construction technology, dynamic variation, various original information sources and separation in information storage. With the enlarging of construction scale, traditional information management of construction quality management organization, which is difficult to satisfy the requirement of modern construction quality management, has accumulated many weaknesses. Therefore, integrating information technology into quality management is imperative under the situation.Firstly, the characteristics of construction quality management and the relationships between quality management and other function management were analyzed, and a model of construction quality management based on process approach was constructed in this thesis. In the model, through inspection and testing process during construction, and controlling the quality of process, the quality of final project product is assured. Then, based on analysis of quality information management in construction phase, the system architecture was presented. To analyze important operational flows, a group of information models were built in system modules analysis and definition. And the functions of system modules were also presented. Various types of data and their mutual relationships are identified and modeled as classes by building Class Diagrams in database design. Finally, construction quality process control module and quality statistical analysis tools module were developed and applied to a civil building project.Web-based construction quality management information system was developed to fulfill the objects that construction quality information collected is centralized managed by the owner,conveniently shared and efficiently transferred among all participants. Besides, quality statistical analysis tools were integrated into information system for supporting decision-making of construction quality manager. |
