Since the time of reform and opening-up, private enterprises have obtained the considerable development, and become the important part of our social market economy. During the course of social and economic development, private enterprises have played an important part of activating market, alleviating the employment pressure, satisfying people’s demands, and etc. Now, our private enterprises have entered the second stage of doing pioneering work. With the development of private enterprise, the management of private enterprises moves toward standardization and institutionalization. But, from the current perspective, our private enterprises still have many problems in management, especially in human resource management. This paper studies the problem of human resource management of private enterprises, and has six parts. The first part is introduction, elaborates on the study background and study meaning, the domestic and foreign research review, research content, research methods, and the innovation point. The second part is outline of theory of private enterprises and human resource management, including the meaning, characteristics, and development stages of private enterprises, and meaning, core functions, and the comparison of traditional personnel management and the modern human resource management. The third part is the present situation and the problems of human resource management of private enterprises. The fifth part is the countermeasures of perfecting the human resource management of private enterprise. The sixth part is the summary of the total study.
