A Study On China’s Transformation Of Export Trade Structure Under The Low Carbon Economy

Since the reform and opening up, China’s foreign trade has achieved greatdevelopment. Exports trade amount expand nearly20times from$62.1billion in1990to$1201.7billion in2009, at present China is the world’s second largest exporter onlysecond to the United States of America. Although China’s export trade amount is huge,the structure of China’s export trade exists many unreasonable places. In the structure ofexport commodities, high energy consumption, high pollution, high emissions product’sproportion is too large; In the modes of export trade, high energy consumption, highpollution, high emissions of processing trade’s proportion is too large; Export areas aretoo focused on Europe, the United States and other developed countries; The exportmodel is mainly low value-added, high-energy inter-industry trade. However, unreasonableexport trade structure increases China’s carbon dioxide emissions, thereby aggravateglobal warming, therefore, in the background of low-carbon economy, research onChina ’s export trade structure transformation problem has important theoretical andpractical significance.This thesis mainly divides into three parts,the introduction, four chapters andconclusion.The first part is the introduction, the introduction presents the background, researchsignificance, research ideas and research methods, and introduces the research status athome and abroad.The body of the first chapter (Chapter second) provides an overview of the lowcarbon economy and export trade structure.The body of the second chapter (Chapter third) analyzes the current situation ofthe structure of China’s export trade. Including the current situation of exportcommodity structure, modes of export trade, export area and export trade pattern.The body of the third chapter (Chapter fourth) analyzes the China’s export tradestructure problems. Including the problems existed in the export commodity structure,modes of export trade, export area and export trade pattern.The body of the fourth chapter (Chapter fifth) puts forward our country’s exporttrade structure transformation path. Including the export commodity structure transformation path, modes of export trade transformation path, export areatransformation path and export trade pattern transformation path.The last part is conclusion, based on our country’s export trade structure analysis,the structure of export trade in China exists many problems, and then draws thestructure of China’s export trade should transform urgently, finally put forward ourcountry’s export trade structure transformation path in the background of low carboneconomy.
