Impact Analysis Of Develop Low-Carbon Economy On Chinese Export Trade

Along with the development of world economy and acceleration of industrialization, global environment has changed dramatically, which made global warming has become one of factors that gradually affect human life. In this case, reduce the carbon emissions and developing low-carbon economy become a pressing task for every country. Develop low-carbon economy is a challenge to China because of Chinese high pollution and high energy consumption export commodity for a long time. How will develop low-carbon economy impact on Chinese export trade? What will happen to trade scale, export commodity structure as well as the international competitiveness of China under the low-carbon economy implementation background? These are the questions which this paper is going to study.Using qualitative and quota methods, this paper analyzed the impact of the features of Chinese carbon emissions characteristics, reduce emission rules and measures to Chinese export trade. Based on this, this paper comprehensively analyzed the influence of reduce emission rules and measures in domestic and in international to Chinese export trade. Which made a conclusion that the low-carbon economy will drop the scale of Chinese export trade in short term, in long term the result does not decide; structure of export commodity transform from the labor-intensive and resources intensity form to the knowledge and technology-intensive form; the international competitiveness of labor-intensive and resources intensity product will drop, and the international competitiveness of knowledge, technology-intensive product will rise.
