Study On Differences And Satisfaction Assessments Of Urban&Rural Residents’ Leisure Behaviors

Leisure is a kind of positive and relaxing behavior, which tightly holds personal material life and spiritual life together, It really has significant value to our life. City and country are two remarkable difference communities, the variables on leisure behavior and leisure satisfaction from them will certainly present obvious diversity, and it is valuable to be researched.In view of the research in areas of leisure, a questionnaire include three subscales (demography subscale, leisure behavior subscale and leisure satisfaction subscale) was made which was combining current situation of Nanchang residents. The questionnaire conducted a pretesting survey by selecting225urban and rural residents at random, and the formal questionnaire is formed after the modification and elimination of variables by reliability&validity analysis, explorative factor analysis. And then400formal questionnaires were issued in city and country respectively, the reliability&validity analysis are based on the Cronbach’s a coefficient and related analysis.The study about urban and rural residents’ leisure behavior is mainly adopted One-way Anova analysis and multiple response analysis, the analysis about urban and rural resident’s leisure satisfaction is mainly adopted One-way Anova analysis and stepwise regression analysis. Through the research, conclusions were drawn as following.In terms of leisure behavior, Urban residents’ leisure activities are diversity, the consumption level of leisure is not high; most rural residents lacks leisure awareness, their subjective opinions about rest is stronger than leisure, group conformity is very obvious. Urban and rural residents’ leisure activities exist very significant diversity, this kind of diversity firstly displays in five aspects:idly situation, playing cards, travel and vacation, knowledge and art, amusing and entertaining. Meanwhile, urban and rural residents’ leisure activity exist convergence, it shows in two aspects:social communication. Sports and fitness. In addition, the diversity of these variables is evident between urban and rural residents:leisure motivation, leisure place, leisure obstructive factor, leisure time, leisure consumption per month, but it is not evident in the form of leisure organization.In terms of leisure satisfaction, Nanchang residents’leisure satisfaction is in the general level, city is higher than country. Leisure obstruction is the main factor that reduce the residents’ leisure satisfaction,67%of the negative variables were come from leisure obstruction, and the influences of leisure activity to leisure satisfaction presented polarization, different leisure activity influence leisure satisfaction in both negative and positive aspects.
