Yunnan Salt Company is a large state-owned enterprise listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Under the pressure of over-capacity of production, product homogeneity and fierce competition, the management strategy of Yunnan Salt Company gradually turns into’centralization’from’decentralization’and its management mode also changes from’extensive’into’accuracy’.’Centralization’challenges its present financial management mode.Along with the economy globalization and the development of information technology, financial sharing service becomes a new type of financial management mode adopted by many business groups. Financial sharing service, different from the traditional centralization or decentralization management mode, is an innovation of financial management mode. With the help of information network technology, it can achieve standardization and simplification of financial process by effectively integrating personnel, technology and process. Financial sharing service has a history of about30years abroad and also has been put into use by many multinational firms. But in China, it is still in its infancy.This thesis studies the financial management of Yunnan Salt Company. By analyzing its present financial management system, information system and company structure, we find that Yunnan Salt Company has many branches which are distributed in the whole Yunnan province and whose management mode are simple and financial department is in a state of redundancy. So it is of great necessity to implement the financial sharing service. It is also feasible after considering the information system of Yunnan Salt Company. This thesis represents an overall plan of the implementation of financial sharing service, including the scope of implementation, personnel training and the construction of information system. This thesis also arranges the way of implementation and the time of implementation. By analyzing the expected benefit, this thesis has great realistic meaning for the implementation of financial sharing service within the Yunnan Salt Company.
