To establish an employee turnover model with Chinese characteristic while conforms to our national conditions has always been a study direction and subject for domestic academic field. How to reduce the employee turnover rate, improve the production efficiency while saving the labor cost has always been an unsolved problem for the company management. It will bring a lot of problems with the leave of employees. Such as, the recruitment cost of new employees, the new workers are.not familiar with the environment which will affect the production quality and efficiency that make it hard for future production development. An empirical research has been used in this research to analyze the main impact and related problems of staff demission in Suzhou. Expecting this paper would help companies to find the reason of employee demission that correct the mistakes in daily management, reduce operating cost and enhance competition, promote Chinese company’s position and market share in international market.The object study is mainly in Suzhou (with jurisdiction of Kunshan, Wujiang, Taicang, Changshu, Zhangjiagang) including state-owned enterprises, European and American companies, Taiwanese corporations and private enterprises. Through the random sampling,257questionnaires were retrieved from more than330enterprises, the total number of valid return was176, and the valid usable return rate was53.33%. The main content of studying in this thesis includes:the summary and analysis of the reason and element of why staff intend to leave, related study of the demission intendance, the study of the whole demission process from having the idea to leave the company.From the study and investigation of the paper we can find that:staff demission is related to population structure in certain area, the development and environment of the company they stay, their personal factors and company management as well.On the basis of summing up the conclusion of the study, eight suggestions would be made as below:propose company human resource strategic planning over human resource management for the companies in Suzhou area, the plan of working responsibilities of each department, development plan for employees in the company, effective recruitment management in the company, in-service training and off-the job training for the present staff, performance evaluation with the principle of equality in the company and also the advanced welfare system.
