The projectsare involved in the field of metallurgy, power generation, and petro-chemical etc. The localand foreign companies who supply the related equipments and technical total solutionservice are facing up the potential business opportunities, and competition in the market aswell. It is normal that the fierce competition forces all companies of different size andowner to do strict cost control and continue to improve the key advantage of competition,so as to make the market share.Supply chain management is a kind of integrated management thought and method,itcarries out logistics plan and control from supplier to end user in the chain. It advocates toestablish cooperative partner relation with the suppliers. In supply chain managementenvironment, for the purpose of quick response to the market demand, purchasemanagement is newly featured by implementation of purchasing information system, costcontrol, and supplier relation management etc.The paper is based on the supply chain management theory, and purchase managementtheory, does study of the purchase management in G company. Firstly, introduce the theoryof supply chain and purchase management, secondly, find out the problems of purchasemanagement in G company and analyze the causes, lastly, present the proposal to improvethe implementation of purchase management in G company. |
