Study On Purchasing Management Of Laiwu Iron And Steel Group Under Supply Chain Environment

Supply chain management is an integrated managerial theory and method. In contrast with the traditional managerial modes which only fix eyes upon sectional optimization, supply chain management can be used to realize synchronic operation and benefit maximization by business reengineering and optimization in the whole supply chain from the standpoint of the systems theory. For modern enterprises, the purchase management based on the theory of supply chain management is an important approach to making resources decisions and enhancing its core competitive capacity. To cut down the cost, improve the operation efficiency and economic benefit, this management mode endeavors to improve the purchase strategies, control the inventory scientifically, and build up the strategic cooperative relationship with suppliers.In order to combine theory with practice to solve purchase management problems of Laiwu iron and steel Group which is a research object in the paper and provide references for other similar enterprises, purchase management for Laiwu steel and iron Group is studied by the way of theory and demonstration.The research and development trends of supply chain are firstly introduced and the basic theory of purchase management and material purchase strategies as well as inventory controlare and supplier management expatiated. Moreover, based on the fact of Laiwu iron and steel Group, the purchase management problems are analyzed and feasible improvement measures are provided. First, material purchase strategies are regarded, as research matter. It is analyzed that purchase strategies is lagging for material purchasing of the company at present. Applying modern theories and means of supply chain management, through material assorting,the morden purchase strategies and measures are planed. Second , the present problems about inventory controlling of Laiwu iron and steel Group are point out, and inventory management of strategies are feasibly put forward. Third, the actuality of existing supplier management for Laiwu iron and steel Group is studied and some problems are analyzed. For solving the above problems about supplier management, rudders and steps are established and concrete measures are planed.At last, suggestions are made in the conclusion for some problems likely encountered in the implement of new ways.
