From the years of experience in the research of intelligent precision mechanical products, theauthor has arrived new understanding on human resource management and its importance, exploredand adopted an effective new management form, which should promote the innovation capability,the chance for success in research projects for small and medium size of companies and in turn theircompetitiveness, and advance this industry in our country.This paper analyzed the characteristics of research projects for intelligent precision mechanicalproducts, studied staffing, quality and thinking ability of the key members of the team.After discussing and analyzing organizational structures, staffing, resource allocation, managementform, evaluation and motivation, this paper presented a new model of human resourceorganizational structures and the corresponding requirement for the staffing management. Thisstudy provides a new thinking on the human resource management for the research projects inintelligent precision mechanical products. This study covered the following:1.By reviewing the researches in this country and abroad on human resources for projectmanagement, this paper presented the approach and main contents of the study in this fieldincluding a three dimensional model for human resource management.2.Studied, analyzed and summarized the knowledge in the knowledge system projectmanagement; Presented the basic principle in project human resource management; Studied therequirements for the team members on their quality, skill, generalizing ability and experience, so asto guide the recruiting process.3.Analyzed the characteristics and process of development projects for intelligent precisionmechanical products. Using an actual project as an example, described organizational structure, taskassignment and human resources planning.4.Studied in detail the requirement and human resources allocation in the development project.Summarized and analyzed staffing, evaluation and motivation in project human resourcemanagement.5.Summarize and popularize the project human resource management model. Expect projectmanager to apply the core theory of the project management for the actual product developmentproject, seeking the suitable approach and method in human resource management and organizationbuilding, so as to guide the project management practice.
