| As a new kind of tourism, industrial tourism has many various characteristics, includingknowledgeable, dependent and so on. It is able to meet the tourists’ high level demands ofseeking knowledge, visiting, experiencing and so on. In our country, industrial tourismdevelops on the primary stage, also has great disparity compared to foreign countries. Alsothere are less systematic researches on industrial tourism development in our country.Industrial tourism is attractive for industrial enterprises and government. As a bigindustrial province in west china, Shaanxi Province has the resources for industrial tourismdevelopment. As a big tourism province, it has sound infrastructure facilities. By the economicgrowing, living standards improving, and the tourism demands diversifying, it gives a strongcustomer support for industrial tourism development. Also, the accumulation of domestic andinternational experience of industrial tourism development reduces the exploring effort.However, industrial tourism development in Shaanxi Province is still on its infancy stage,which needs further development.Based on the research results, this paper gives a systematic overview on the concept,characteristics, stage of development division, and particularly, a detailed summary of themotivation and significance of industrial tourism. Also, this paper makes a study on relevanttheories. According to the analysis of developing situation, resources condition, consumermarket, and developing problems of industrial tourism in Shaanxi Province, this paper designsthe function position of the main subjects combing with relevant experiences. Also it analyzesthe type of resources, market characteristics，external environment，concept system, spatialdistribution in Shaanxi Province by RMP theory, and builds a model of product development.This paper gives some suggestions from the angle of government, industry association,enterprises, tourist, etc. which makes this paper have some practical guiding significance. |
